What do you do when you find a box of puff pastry in the freezer? S'more Turnover? Well OK!
This fancy little hot pocket is stuff with a graham cracker, chocolate bar, blob of peanut butter, and topped with marshmallow cream. ALMOST as good as a campfire s'more.
Happy Palindrome week!
Every date this week reads the same forwards and backwards! This is immensely exciting for us geeky sorts who just love a good palindrome!
*So Many Dynamos
Quite often, the more random something is, the more genuine my appreciation and declaration of brilliance. And I am absolutely enamored with Moosejaw's Sketch-A-Fact.
Moosejaw is a Michigan-based, outdoor retailer who, over the years, has continuously impressed me with their marketing tactics, which often embrace the ridiculous and provide witty commentary.
Their latest website feature, Sketch-A-Fact, makes it so we "never have to guess what facts look like ever
again." Send them weird or interesting fact you've heard one of their "semi-talented designers" will illustrate the fact.
They just get better and better.
The dramatic lighting here creates an architecture you'd never expect. These photos make you appreciate the delicate construction of instruments, and marvel at the wonder of the beautiful sounds they create.
When I first saw this burger i thought it was made out of those plastic beads you arrange on the plastic palettes and iron... But this burger is actually wood. It's a wooden BurgerTime Burger from the Wooden Arcade.
This is so true, and this is so my job. So much of my time is spent creating really generic metaphors–and finding existing (free?) stock photography and footage to illustrate them!
It's funny because it's true. Time to break free. And laugh at ourselves.
I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I Googled "facepaint burger". But boy is this creepy! UK designer James Kuhn sure loves facepaint!
